White Ink Architects, Belfast, Northern Ireland

September 2017 to September 2018

During my Part I experience at White Ink Architects, I was involved in several urban regeneration projects across the United Kingdom, particularly the South West Lands phase one development of Wembley Park in the North-West of London, which is currently the largest PRS/Build-to-rent scheme which will provide over 7,000 no. new homes.

The overall scheme is a mixed-use £1 Billion investment project across 85 acres led by Quintain, with the desire to rejuvenate  Wembley Park and provide a sustainable community for living, working and interacting.

White Ink Architects worked closely with the Contractor, design team and sub-consultants to coordinate, review and optimise the design and construction of 188 no. Units (1, 2 and 3 bed apartments) across three residential blocks ranging between 9-18 stories above a basement carpark/podium slab structure.

The project was constructed using traditional brick and standing seam metal cladding on a Metsec structural frame and was designed internally with exposed ceilings, pipework, services and commercial units along the ground floor.

- Involved in regular discussions with design consultants, while coordinating and answering site queries with construction details, drawings, and specifications.

- Obtained several certificates and qualifications in modelling programs, including Vray, Twin-motion and 3DS Max.
